The Hellenic Craniofacial Center was founded in 1996 by Dr A. Stratoudakis and Dr A. Xofylli. Dr. Konstantinos Alexandrou succeeded A. Stratoudakis in the position of Plastic - Craniofacial Surgeon.
The Hellenic Craniofacial Center is a model, specialized and pioneering center, which was created to offer comprehensive care in the field of facial deformities. Incidents are treated - at the highest standards and according to international protocols - facial deformities of children and adults related to congenital or acquired problems, syndromes, malformations, cleft lip and palate, functional problems such as nasal septum deviation and facial aesthetic problems. It is the only fully staffed center in Greece and one of the few in Europe, specialized in such cases according to international protocols and recognized by the European Society of Craniofacial Surgery and the American Cleft Palate- Craniofacial Association.
The patient is monitored in addition to the Craniofacial - Plastic Surgeon by distinguished doctors and scientists of all specialties, when these are deemed necessary for the successful rehabilitation of the case.
The Center is one of 9 respective centers recognized in Europe.
