On Sunday, May 6, 2018, our Neurosurgeon Dr Kanaris Panagopoulos participated ex officio as President of the European Society of Craniofacial Surgery, in the working group of the European Reference Centers for Craniosynostoses, EURO CRANIO. This group consists of the few top European Craniofacial Centers and aims to acquire and exchange knowledge on craniocerebral disorders and craniofacial abnormalities. Its main task is to create guidelines that will apply to the best, most modern surgical treatment of craniosynostosis. Apart from the exchange of scientific views, there was intense interest about the Pan-European Conference on Craniofacial Surgery, which took place on 4-6 October 2018 in Athens also organized by our Neurosurgeon Kanaris Panagopoulos as President.
